What’s it about?
The history of video games is, quite frankly, mad. Atari was an American company with a Japanese name, and the Japanese company Sega was founded by an American. Magnavox, arguably the first video games company, is owned by Phillips, now over 100 years old. Nintendo is around 100 years old too. Sony, on the other hand, was known for being an electronic jack of all trades until it devised the PlayStation - its biggest-selling product of all time! This zone helps learners to understand current technology and the latest gadgets/consoles in the historical context from which they have developed.
